I am an uncle.....almost.

So my sister is in labor right now, and to celebrate I thought Id draw some weird shit. (Thats what you do with your nephew right? show them weird drawings?)

Anyway these were fun. I gotta do quick shit two a waay more often.

My last post was done in photoshop, and I did this one entirely (almost) in flash. I think I like

my process in flash more. for now.Did these guys in flash too. Thought they were kinda fun.

A Girl and Her Robot

I think this is the first thing that I have done entirely digitally. I dont really like using an intuous, but until i get my cintiq it will have to do.

The girl was inspired by my purple haired girlfriend. The robot was inspired by Akira Toriyama. and robots.

Yoko

So a while back, after drawing her a s a fat chick, I said that i would draw Yoko correctly. Well I have finally gotten around to it, and while i dont think i did Gainax justice, i think it turned out alright.

Gotta say though, Yoko is lots of fun to draw.

Gearin Up

Today I decided to study Katsuhiro Otomo drawings. Guy is totally awesome, if you havent checked out the akira manga I highly recommend it.

Anyway after studying his genius work i decided to apply it to my own stuff. This is the result. A lot more like Kaneda than I was goin for, but overall I think it was a good productive day.

Cowboys and Girls

I really dont know why I put these things together. The other day I got to do some life drawing of a cowboy. He was a good model, and it was a lot of fun. All of these are three minute poses. (Except the bonus dinosaur, he took ten seconds. I timed it.)

This morning I warmed up by drawing some cute girls. They took about 15 minutes each. Always a good way to get started. Anyway, when I was done, I felt like putting them together.

Lets go dammit

Motorcycles are hard to draw. This is the first time I have ever been very succeful with one, but it is still a bs job with a lot of crap left out/rushed. They would take a good amount of study to master.

Son Goku

I havent drawn this guy in a while, and when i used to often, it usually was not as a kid. I think i should more often, at all stages of life.
