Megalosaur Rider

In a perfect world i think all girls would ride around on dinosaurs. Its an excellent combination, if you think about it. Even if you dont think about it, its pretty sweet. Only thing better would be to get them into space. Travel the stars on the sauropod of your choice! Hmm, i think i know what i will draw next.

I take it back though. In a perfect world I would have a dinosaur.

Knives and Lizards

Lately I have been working on coloring. It has always been y least favorite part of the process, but I think it has grown on me a little recently. Anyway, these are some things I have done recently. Hope you like!

Colored Turn

So about a month ago I said was goin to put a better turn around on here. Im not sure this one is technically better, but it is technically colored! Yay! Also there is a thing I did with markers. I like to work with markers, and since I dont have a cintiq, i have mostly been doin stuff on paper. Really, nothing compares to workin on paper. Digital stuff just doesnt feel quite right to me, but since that is the way the industry is goin, i gotta work with it. I think I will always do both though.

20 minute turn!

In the past I had never been very good at turning characters. I guess it is just something that takes some practice. So I challenged myself to design and turn a character in 20 minutes. They guy on top is what resulted. Not perfect, but I think it turned out alright.

The monster guy below him is his nemesis. They like to fight all the time, and for no reason at all.

I think im gonna have to do some more detailed turns in the very near future.

TMNT

Recently I have been trying to learn to make characters that look different from each other. Seems like it should be easy, but its something i have always struggled with. After seeing many others do it, i figured that a good exercise would be to draw that ninja turtles but give each a unique look and feel while retaining the same basic structure.

Anyway this is what i came up with. I really like to draw ninja turtles.
